Rio Secco Golf Club
Las Vegas, Nevada
August 3, 2009

The Rio Secco Gold Club is legendary among local residents and avid golfers alike for the tremendously challenging, fair, and demanding course layout. When Rio Secco opened in 1997, Golf Digest and Golf Magazine voted it among the top ten new courses. In 2007, it ranked in Golfweek America's 100 Greatest Resort Golf Courses.

Join celebrity pro and CBS television analyst Ian Baker-Finch at the Creating Futures Charity Golf Classic. Ian began his career on the Australia tour turning pro in 1979 and won his first professional tournament in 1983 at the New Zealand Open. His two PGA Tour victories include the 1989 Southwestern Bell Colonial and the 1991 British Open Championship.

The Creating Futures Charity Golf Classic will be held in conjunction with Breakaway, the annual conference for CompTIA members. Breakaway 2009 runs August 3-6 at the Mirage Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Proceeds from the golf event will benefit Creating Futures, which provides career opportunities and training to groups who have historically been under-represented in the IT workforce, including U.S. veterans transitioning out of the military, individuals with disabilities, women, minorities, at-risk youth, and dislocated workers.

Sponsorship opportunities for the Creating Futures Charity Golf Classic are available.  See our list of current sponsors below.  For more information on how you can participate, download the sponsorship package PDF.
