Training Programs
The CompTIA Educational Foundation utilizes research to develop programs that produce properly skilled workers for the latest, in-demand IT jobs. After an initial period of study and planning by the Foundation, Creating Futures works hand-in-hand with organizations and training providers to serve the transitioning veterans, individuals with disabilities, youth-at-risk and dislocated workers. Organizations and training providers form programs such as career prep, education, certification and skill validation. In addition, the Creating Futures team works with local employers, workforce boards and CompTIA member companies to find internship and employment opportunities so that individuals may obtain long term employment within the IT field.

Creating Futures
The Educational Foundation’s Creating Futures program provides students, IT workers, employers, training providers and educational institutions with the necessary components to build a qualified and diverse workforce. Through the program, transitioning U.S. veterans, individuals with disabilities, youth-at-risk and dislocated workers are given training to build life long, productive and rewarding careers in IT. CompTIA IT Merit Awards
